Hi Don; I imagine that by now you have finished recording your audio book. As a blind person I can agree with what your brother and your own research was telling you. Also, we tend to be a very loyal audience and support those who offer their products and services in the most accessible format possible. If your book gets adopted by the National Library Service it can be an additional way to get read. However, unfortunately; no extra money. Congress passed a special law 89-522 that covers this. But I wanted to share a trick I learned in college. I had professors who would let me record my answers on to audio tape. Your own voice sounds bad to your ears because its being recorded in mono. I found that if I used a room with just a little bit of an echo my voice sounded so much better. I got great results in a bathroom and in the small laundry room at the community college where I started bye education. Good luck with the writing and the audio recording, Max
Max, Actually I abandoned it about halfway through. I really struggled with how my voice sounded. You have given me inspiration to maybe resurrect my efforts. Thanks for your thoughts.
