I had the pleasure of participating in a book signing with my co-author on the new book, Frank Immersed, at the Harbour Village Marina in Ponce Inlet, Florida yesterday, 1/28/17.
It was a fun event complete with signing books, answering questions about writing, karaoke and dancing. It was also fun to help launch the writing career of Kent Arceneaux as my co-author on this book. He is a talented guy and you should look for his solo work in the near future.
Here are some pictures and video highlights from the event:

We also had a table with my other books.

It was a great event. Hopefully we picked up some new readers and also helped advance the cause of independently published authors.
The whole experience of writing a book with Kent Arceneaux and seeing his excitement as he participated in his first book signing was very rewarding.
After the signing, there was some singing and dancing. Kent and I both wanted to sing for our wives. Here is some video of me trying to belt out a tune HERE.
And Kent is no slouch when it comes to singing. Check it out HERE.
Friday and Saturday I participated in the Book Obsessed Babes Author Signing Event (BOBASE) in Jacksonville, Florida. There were many authors and fans there and it was great to meet them and grow my network.
Here are some pictures of the signing event.

The table was in a great spot right in the center of the ballroom.
Just before the fans were turned loose.
My two beautiful daughters, Lillie and Maria, decided to stop by. My eight year old, Lillie, couldn’t resist making a face.
My lovely wife, Caryn, was my assistant for the day and kept my table from looking like garbage.
Here is a group shot of all the BOBASE authors. I’m in the back with some of the only other male authors among this group of female authors.
Tomorrow, April 9th, I will be participating in the Book Obsessed Babes Author Event in Jacksonville, Florida. This is the second year for the event. I participated last year and it was my first ever author event. I’m introverted by nature and I was not confident in what I was doing, but I enjoyed it immensely. Now, a year later, I am amazed at how many of the authors I know and have met either in person or virtually. I’m looking forward to participating.
I’ll be posting pictures and thoughts on the event over the weekend and early next week.
If you’ll be in the Jacksonville area, please stop by this event and say hello.
