For those who don’t know already, could you tell us about yourself and your book(s) please?
I’m an Australian writer and teacher. I have two young daughters and live with them and my husband in Hurstbridge, on the leafy outskirts of Melbourne. My debut novel, Skylarking (Legend Press, 2017), is the story of best friends, Kate and Harriet, growing up on a remote light station on the rugged coast of Australia in the 1880s. As daughters of the lighthouse keepers, the two girls share everything, until a fisherman, McPhail, arrives in their small community. One moment in McPhail’s hut changes everything.
Where did/do you get your ideas from?
