While I was celebrating my friends’ 50th birthdays (slightly in advance!) in Moscow last weekend, Portobello Book Blog reached a smaller milestone and turned two. I’ve had great fun over the past couple of years sharing my love of books, connecting with the blogging and writing community, reading so many wonderful books and meeting up with authors and bloggers in real life too. My blog was even nominated for a Best Book Review Blog award at the Annual Bloggers Bash, which I was naturally delighted about.
I am still slightly amazed when I look at the statistics for my blog, something I just started for fun and didn’t really expect many people to read or be interested in:
I’ve published 621 blogposts, have had 21754 visitors and 49274 views of my posts. Between blog followers, Twitter followers and people who like my Facebook page I have a total of 3039 followers…
