Persistence leads to success for Northern Virginia author

O’Fallon woman pens first novel at age 76
Writing has been a life-long passion for Beverly Lindbo. When she was a child, Lindbo and her best friend would sit in the apple tree in her back yard and write poetry and stories about their pets.
“I can’t remember a time when I didn’t write,” the 76-year-old O’Fallon woman said.
