Here is a quick tip to help you with our proofreading.
When it comes to proofreading your manuscript during the editing process, changing the font type and size is a good way to spot errors. Your eyes and mind get used to reading your words in the usual font size and type when you are writing. When you read through your work, your mind and eyes see what you think you should be seeing, not what is there. This causes you to miss things during the edit and proofreading process. Another good way to find errors is convert the manuscript to an ebook and read it on a kindle or other ereader. I’ve found a number of mistakes using this process. I make note of the chapter and sentence where the error occurs, and the next day I go back and fix it in the original document.
